Kagamine Len is the second Japanese singing synthesizer from Crypton Future Media to be based on Yamaha's Vocaloid_2. This package is unique in that there are two separate voice samples available: one for a male voice and one for a female voice. By utilizing the 'gender factor' function, users can create a more colorful tone ranging between the two. His name Kagamine means Mirror(鏡) Sound(音) and implies this character. The official design was created by KEI: kei-garou.net. His voice is based on voice actress Shimoda_Asami, who among other things voiced the Futami twins Futami_Ami|Ami and Futami Mami|Mami in the game IDOLMASTER.

He has blond_hair done in a short_hair style and blue_eyes. He wears a sailor_collar shirt with necktie. He wears shorts along with arm_warmers, leg_warmers and a white headset.
