The series has various spin-off light novels and there are manga adaptations of the main series and spin-offs. A TV anime adaptation was produced by Studio_Deen and aired in 2016 with a second season airing in 2017. A film adaptation of one of the volumes was produced by J.C._Staff and was released in 2018. A third season produced by Drive (studio) aired in 2024. Several game adaptations have also been released. The story revolves around Satou_Kazuma, a teenage boy who is reincanated (isekai) into the MMORPG-like world, and his adventures with his seemingly powerful yet comically unreliable party members.
