Now Viewing: lady_(devil_may_cry)Tag type: Character The female lead of Devil_May_Cry_3, her debut. Not to be confused with images depicting women. She is a short haired human girl with heterochromia and black hair and wears a schoolgirl like outfit with a white top and a black skirt. She was designed by Ikeno_Daigo and her look was inspired by the Russian singer Julia Volkova of the popular duo Tatu. In contrast to the majority of Devil May Cry's cast, she is a normal human, but she is nevertheless skilled at combat and has no trouble dealing with the series' supernatural foes. She wields two guns plus the Kalina Ann, a large rocket launcher strapped to her back which does not prevent her from pulling off impressive acrobatics. She also rides a red motorcycle. She is on a mission to stop her evil father Arkham and seems to know more about Dante's father Sparda than Dante does himself. She has a serious and fiery personality and she often clashes with Dante who doesn't seem to take anything seriously. But the two become close friends over the course of the adventure as they grow to understand each other. She returns in Devil May Cry 4, having aged a few years and sporting a new design. She now has a larger bust and wears sunglasses. This look was inspired by buisnesswomen. She is a playable character for the first time within the Devil May Cry games in the updated rerelease of the game Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition. In Devil May Cry 5, she returns to a look closer to her original appearance, but with a white jacket top on top of her white top. She appears alongside Dante in the crossover game Project X Zone. She also appears in the Capcom crossover Onimusha Soul. She is once again the female lead in the 2025 Netflix adaptation of Devil May Cry. This version of Lady, however, had a different role from her original game counterpart. She is member of a special government anti-demon task force called DARKCOM. She wears the Darkcom tactical uniform instead of her game outfits, a blue and yellow outfit with some armor. She doesn't have her original motive of revenge against her father, so she has no trouble being referred to by her real name. Like the characters in Adi Shankar's previous video game adaptation Castlevania, she is considerably more profane than in the games. She is voiced by Kari Wahlgren (Devil May Cry 3-4), Kate Higgins (Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition onward), Orikasa_Fumiko (anime), Scout Taylor-Compton (2025 anime with original VA Wahlgren playing Eva and Echidna instead), and Evie Hsu (young Lady in 2025 anime). She was played by Miyajima Naomi in the Devil May Cry musical. Other Wiki Information Last updated: 04/05/25 11:18 AM by jojosstand This entry is not locked and you can edit it as you see fit. |
