She became interested in voice acting while she was in elementary school and joined the junior class of Nihon Narration Engi Kenkyuujo in 2004 in order to train to become a professional voice actor. After passing an audition for I'm Enterprise in 2006, she began her professional career, debuting as Midou Sumire in the drama CD adaptation of Indian Summer and followed that up by playing Kawakabe_Momoka in the 2007 anime adaptation of Touka_Gettan. From that point on, she became one of the most popular female seiyuu of her generation, frequently cast in major roles in many popular anime. She has a soft gentle voice, which has led her to being frequently cast as classically feminine and demure female characters though they can reveal a ferocious side when pushed hard enough. Some of her more famous roles include: Yor_Briar from Spy_x_Family, Kochou_Shinobu from Kimetsu_no_Yaiba, and Ikaros from Sora_no_Otoshimono.
