Now Viewing: bishoujo_senshi_sailor_moon_crystalTag type: Copyright Tag refers to the highly anticipated remake of the Bishoujo_Senshi_Sailor_Moon series. It was first announced on the 20th anniversary of the Sailor Moon franchise and premiered on July 5, 2014. The series airs episodes new episodes every two weeks as opposed to the weekly schedule of most TV anime. It is directed by Sakai Munehisa and written by Kobayashi Yuuji. The soundtrack is composed by Takanashi Yasuharu who provides a more rock-oriented soundtrack much like his work for the Precure franchise. The characters are designed by Sako_Yukie. The series replaces all of the seiyuu of the original cast with newer and younger seiyuu, except for heroine Tsukino Usagi/Sailor Moon, who is once again played by Mitsuishi_Kotono. The art style is also significantly different from the 90s anime with the characters having noticeably longer legs.
