Her musical talents are recognized by Honoka and her peers, and the former wants her to join Muse, but she is initially reluctant to and is in denial over her interest in Muse. She is quite antisocial and has never brought any of her peers into her home throughout her high school life. Hanayo becomes the first person of her peers to enter her home. Hanayo returns Maki's student ID and helps convince Maki to join Muse.
