Now Viewing: azuma_kiyohikoTag type: Artist (東清彥) Azuma Kyohiko is a Japanese male mangaka born in May 27, 1968. He started off as a hentai artist under the name Jonokuchi Joji and has also created non-hentai doujinshi under the name A-Zone. In spite of his origins and unlike many other mangaka with similar roots, his mainstream manga work is lacking in sexual content and is mostly family-friendly. He is most well known for his slice-of-life comedy manga Azumanga_Daiou and Yotsubato!. The former has been adapted into anime, but the latter has not despite its popularity. Azuma himself does not believe that the latter would translate well into anime.
