She became interested in voice acting after she saw Bishojo Senshi Sailor Moon and began professionally voice acting a decade later. She started off acting in visual novels under various aliases, but began voice acting in anime TV series from 2012 onwards and became particularly popular in the late 2010s-early 2020s thanks to playing multiple highly popular main characters in hit anime such as Anya_(Spy_X_Family), Frieren from Sousou_no_Frieren and Hatori_Chise from mahou_tsukai_no_yome. She has a wide vocal range, which has led to her both playing high-pitched child like characters as well as older and lower-key characters. She cites Sawashiro_Miyuki and Tanaka_Mayumi as her favorite voice actresses. She won the Best Supporting Actress Award at the 14th Seiyu Awards in 2020 and both the Best Supporting Actor Award and Best Lead Actor Award at the 17th Seiyu Awards in 2023.
