Now Viewing: 22/7Tag type: Copyright ナナブンノニジュウニ Nanabun no Nijuuni An idol group and multimedia franchise created by Akimoto Yasushi, who previously spearheaded the popular idol group AKB48, Aniplex and Sony Music Records. It is a group of anime teen idols with designs by a multitude of popular anime character designers such as Horiguchi_Yukiko, Sakura_Koharu, etc. Each member is designed by a different designer. The group debuted on June 16, 2017, after several rounds of auditions to pick the seiyuu/singers for each character. All of the characters were played by newcomers to the seiyuu/music industry. They released their first single, Boku wa Sonzai Shiteinakatta, and music video on August 22, 2017. Since then, the group has continually released single/music videos and performed concerts. The group has been adapted into multiple anime, the first adaptation being Ano Hi no Kanojo-tachi, a web animation of short single minute episodes focusing on their daily lives, animated by Cloverworks. It ran from March 24, 2018 to November 12, 2018. It was followed by a TV anime with 24 minute episodes named after the group. The TV series ran from January 11, 2020 to March 28, 2020, animated by A-1_Pictures. Both were directed by Wakabayashi Shin.
