She is one of the biggest pop stars of her generation and is known as the Galactic Fairy, beloved for her strong vocals and stage presence as well as her sex appeal. She is managed by Grace O'Connor who raised her and molded her into the pop superstar she currently is. Sheryl came from Macross Galaxy and becomes involved in the main story when she goes to the Macross Frontier as part of a tour. She shifts through a wide variety of outfits throughout the series, but she commonly wears a quartz shaped diamond earring. She is a confident and hard-working girl who often declares that she will accomplish something because she is Sheryl Nome. Although she can come off as arrogant to others, she is gracious to her fans and fellow professionals. She develops a close relationship with Saotome Alto, who she gradually develops romantic feelings for, and Ranka Lee, whose career she helps jump start. She is voiced by Endo_Aya. Her singing voice is provided by May'n. She became an immensely popular character out of universe as well upon the series' release, becoming one of Endo's most popular roles and marking May'n's breakthrough as a singer. In a 2019 NHK Macross Poll, she was ranked first in Top 10 Characters of the Macross franchise.
