(Though Haruna and Kirishima_(Kantai_Collection) were completed on the same day, Haruna is generally considered to have been the third ship of the class due to having been laid down one day earlier.) All of the Kongou-class wear a nontraditional_miko uniform with differently colored skirts and thigh_boots. They also wear the same signature winged hairband. Haruna herself has long_hair, black_hair (with an often forgotten hairclip) and a red skirt. She refers to herself in the 3rd person and has a warm, humble personality (Oddly, she is also the kanmusu (Kantai Collection musume (girl)?) with the most Yandere images). Unique to her Kai-ni, Haruna has AA guns attached to her boots and cannons painted with dazzle_paint camouflage stripes. After her second remodel (remodel_(Kantai Collection)) was revealed, artists began to draw Haruna with striped_panties like her dazzle camoflage. Her canon [1] panties actually feature vertical stripes. Her famous line "Haruna will be alright!" Has earned her the nickname "daijoubu".
