Now Viewing: mine_fujikoTag type: Character 峰 不二子 A busty long-haired woman who is one of the main characters of the Lupin_III franchise and the only consistent recurring female. Her name was derived from 霊峰不二, Reihou Fuji, Sacred Mt. Fuji. She is a sultry and cunning thief who loves stealing who is always after the next big score, and will do anything possible to get her hands on the prize. She is also skilled at combat and maneuvering vehicles. Her gun of choice is the Browning M1910. She has a complicated relationship with Arsene Lupin III. Lupin is clearly attracted to her and she is his achilles heel, as he is willing to forgive her no matter how much she dupes him. Fujiko usually works by herself, but she often ends up working with and helping Lupin on their various adventures and she may reciprocate his feelings in her own way. Her character notably has gone through the most design changes throughout the franchise. Originally, this was because she was intended by series creator Monkey Punch to be separate characters. In the early manga chapters, Lupin would interact with different love interests, except all of them would go by the name Fujiko. Monkey Punch later decided to simplify things by making them all the same character. Although Lupin still had different love interests throughout the franchise, Fujiko is the main recurring one. Like her fellow recurring characters, Fujiko is an iconic and influential character and is one of the first sex symbol icons in anime/manga. She was voiced by Masuyama_Eiko from 1969 to 2011. Masuyama debuted in the role in the very first animated adaptation of Lupin III, the Lupin III pilot. She was briefly replaced by Nikaido_Yukiko for Lupin III Part 1, but returned to the role with Lupin III part 2. Starting with 2011's special Lupin III Chi no Kokuin - Eien no Mermaid, she was replaced by Sawashiro_Miyuki who has played her in all subsequent installments. She was voiced for one time only by Koyama_Mami in 1987 for the OVA The Fuma Conspiracy. In live action, she was played by Eiko Ezaki (1974) and Kuroki Meisa (2014).
