Her breakthrough role was Ranka Lee in Macross Frontier and she also did her character's singing. However, she first became involved with the Macross franchise in 2007 when she participated in the Macross 25th Anniversary Concert, which was also her debut as a professional performer. She earned a Best Musical Performance in the Third Annual Seiyuu Awards for her work in Macross Frontier. She has released singles both as Ranka and as herself. Her subsequent voice acting roles tend to capitalize on her singing ability. Her musical career went on a hiatus after the release of her album Thank You! and a major farewell concert held on March 30, 2014. However, she remains active in voice acting. She also provides the voice samples for Gumi who strongly resembles Ranka Lee.
