Curious! This game nostalgically like MonsterWorld IV or VI (1994 Sega Master & Mega Systems) with Asha, an Arabian monster fighter/summoner who rides on a magical carpet with a 'Manly' Genie at the End of the Game.
Perhaps this is Their daughter?
Anyways I like Both Games.

"male gamers would never play a girl character"
Apparently publishers were only thinking of girl characters designed for females; Barbie, Bratz, My Little Pony (previous generations), Mary Kate and Ashley, etc. As long as the game is intriguing male gamers will play it. Tomb raider is a good example.
