The law is that they are REQUIRED to censor shit if they plan to make money off of it (selling at anything other than your neighbours). There is apparently quite a bit of lee way but artists prefer to err on the side of caution as this is how they get money. So artists try to make the censors as ineffective as possible so we may continue to enjoy their work.
