Getting a very Gogocherry vibe here. Gogocherry and Katsuhiro Otomo aren't afraid of drawing funny-lookin (I.E. more realistic) girls, and I respect that.

I think what's even more interesting is it's a fan study of two James Cameron characters, Trudy from Avatar, and Vasquez from Aliens... who were both, very similar characters.

There's a small fantheory going around that Avatar and Aliens take place in the same universe.
