And for that matter, the common portrayal of the embodiment of death as evil is, in and of itself, incorrect. Even in the Bible, Death isn't evil, he's one of God's angels! And not fallen! Unless I'm remembering incorrectly.

And even if you don't subscribe to the Bible for your info on Death, it's at it's very worst, neutral. Not evil. It doesn't care who you are, good or bad, young or old, if it's time for you to go, it's time for you to go. There's no malicious intent, nor would (or rather, should) any embodiment feel any real joy in their work. It's just what they do. Morality doesn't even enter into the equation. It's their purpose plain and simple.

Your point still doesn't change the fact that it's incorrect. It's simply an excuse. Perhaps in other cases I might give you that, but not in this case. Death is a part of reality. It's not good or evil. It simply is.

anon 6 you are right death was not evil in the least bit he came to guide u to god but the grim reaper (not to be confused with death) came to bring u to hell even if it ment ripping out ur unwilling to die soul both the devil and got have bringers of death 1 of good and 1 of evil if u look more deeply in to the hidden scriptures that have been removed from the bible do to there's whome thought it wasn't relevant to be known u'd see there's much more tht even someone as okly formed as u still have alot u don't even know yet

you all are wrong Grim Reaper, Death, and other names given are all one, if you sinned in life and you arent allowed in heaven then death (grim reaper) takes you to hell and vice versa. and to really be honest Death is actually an Archangel. the name Death is known as is Azrael, and is also known not only in the Christian religion, but Muslim though the Qur'an wont acknowledge him, and is also in other religions as well. but in reality thing is the real question has yet been answered is this person real?
