Fun fact: Quetzalcoatl was one of the few Mayan gods that didn't need human sacrifice to survive, and allegedly hated the practice. What he asked for instead was the sacrifice of birds, snakes and - not kidding here - BURRITOES. Seriously, they were a Mayan foostuff, and apparently, he was a fan.
