That would have never happened, not with Kishi as a writer.
Men always had it better, and even more in the case of Kishi's favorite Sasuke - it was noticeable Kishi was afraid to ever let Sasuke "be less cool", especially in Part 2, one of the biggest examples, Karin forgiving him in Konoha, after he nearly killed her.
If you want something where women are treated fairly, watch ATLA, or TLOK,

Ultimately he gave her power but never let her grow up beyond wanting to get into Sasuke's pants. She could've been an epic, truly dedicated medical ninja, but wound up reduced to a passive aggressive doormat/submissive lonely housewife. What a waste.
