the thing that you guys don't factor into all of this is that Goku has been trained to fight, his pure Martial Arts skills exceed Supes, and Supes has clear and definite weaknesses, one of which being the sun. I love em both, but Supes can't move instantly to anywhere in the universe.

Two different stories.. it would definitely be a draw. While Super Man is simply invincible, Goku would be practically unstoppable to him. Result? Goku would use Superman as a bendy toy.. nothing would be concluded.

If you compare them in the same place at the same time Goku can take up to 3 episode to move a inch. No matter how much stronger Goku is Superman is more of a man of action than Goku.

Damn, I feel a Dragon Punch joke should be stuck in there, just for the irony. I'm sorta siding with Mr. Smith though, considering Goku has transformations and Clark has stated before that he holds back, so both their potential for destroying the very fabric of reality is extremely high, especially if Clark gets close enough to that sun (DCUO, dude isolates himself in space, after a while all that radiation would give him a major power boost, only problem, still weak to kyrptonite.). So if both were stupid (Goku is only Earth/Saiyan wise stupid, he has enough sense though) then this battle would need debate, but they aren't. Both realize that their pointless battle would harm many lives of which both cherish.

roflmao ... Superman's fanclub on the roll here ... I agree , he is strong ... he can even defeat Master Roshi , but thats about it ...
Were Superman to fight Krillin, there would be no doubt how one-sided the match is , since Krillin can easily 1hit the guy with not much problem ... (dbz-gt) . Well that's my opinion , not sayin it's the correct one, but that's what I tend to think .
