So, uh, turns out I've been only half right about this video for years. Yes, she committed suicide because of her lover, but get this; SHE APPARENTLY KILLED HIM WITH A CROWBAR FIRST. Admittedly, that makes her going to hell a lot more palpable, but HOW THE FUCK WERE WE SUPPOSED TO GET THAT FROM THAT ALREADY HARD TO DECIPHER CLIP? There wasn't even a quick clip of her holding the murder weapon!

I honestly liked my first interpretation. :(

On my other post on the subject (gelbooru.com/index.php?pa...&tags=natsumi_step%21) I claimed she was going to hell for suicide, but no, she's going to hell for murder primarily and maybe suicide. I guess my own biases saw what it wanted to see since I couldn't understand the context.

Thinking about it, I'm probably more wrong than right, because I don't think mere "psychopomps" would do all of this. Those were demons, she's being mocked, and she's just going along with with it while she can.
