However, the blog post is correct, during the game Madeline is accepting the fact that she is trans. Which means it is extremely unlikely that the game happens after transitioning.

pretty sure it takes place after she transitions, she goes by the name madeline the whole time, i think the game is her dealing with depression and anxiety mostly (most likely related to being trans)
