I'm really captivated by trying to make pictures that look like they were a panel pulled from a doujinshi. Something about screentones gives pictures a very unique look and I personally find it really appealing. So I want to do more in this vein. Also, I can't deny that doing screentones takes less time than full color. So, it can be nice to do less time-consuming pictures like this, on the side.

The only hard part is deciding which pictures to do full-color and which ones to tone. I have quite a few sketches that I look at and think, "Nah, I gotta hold onto this and do proper colors on it." So I find, often times, I have to sketch a picture with the explicit intent of making it screentone pic. Anyway, till next time. Hope you enjoy the pic. :)
