As true as all of that is, I doubt we'll have time to realize anything when that day happens. As soon as robots become able to imitate human thought, I'm pretty sure they're gonna go Skynet on us and exterminate our sorry asses.

It's like Ghost In The Shell 2, Eventually the robots will have real peoples consciousnesses pumped in and then programed so that a person is stuck looking through the eyes of bodies they can't control feeling every minute of it. Rape will become super common.
