You know considering how much time Goku spent as a dead man traveling all around the universe and heavens, I’m actually surprised he hasn’t run into grandpa Gohan again, his biological parents or any of the millions of Saiyans that got blown up for that matter. What would King Vegeta say to his son now since they’ve both died?

I feel like they kind of explored the idea of the afterlife but hadn’t really considered the can of worms they’d be opening if they did. I think the fans actually do more thinking and speculating regarding consistency, lore and world building than the creatives do at this point. Much like with Star Wars.

That is true. I know toriyama has forgotten his own lore. Piccolo was originally a demon in dragonball. Then suddenly he and kami were aliens. The whole supreme kai and destroyer thing is an after thought. Cause the original elder supreme kai killed himself to revive goku. That should have killed beerus?

Old Kai was in the Z sword. Beerus is connected to Shin. Old Kai was brought back to life by Porunga.
