I do wish Nitara had a chance of coming back into the MK world outside of an offhand mention, vampires would fit in pretty well in with everything they’ve got.
But Mileena’s vampire look, Skarlet’s blood magic and independent bug lady with wings motivated by self interest is all they’ll give us. She could honestly work if more time, effort and thought was put into her like what was done with Nightwolf or Stryker.
