Years later with only art like this being the only remnant of this event, I don't think it had anything to do with some boogeyman causing a shit storm. Like don't get me wrong, talk if "core values" was really stupid, especially with how many awful people there are in the FGC. But genuinely blaming "religious fundamentalists and feminists", famous for being on the same page and having the same stake on topics like this, is not any better.

At least actually read up on the event. The Japanese stream was cut by the Japanese producers when photo mode was used in a less than flattering way. None of your imaginary SJWs were involved and you should stop resorting to that as to why you're so miserable.
