Jaune is the nephew of the King of Vale. That or a close relative of lineage.
You think that sword and shield are there for fun? A shit blade from an old age with zero functionality in a world where everything is "also a gun"? No. It's a plot device.
They didn't even upgrade that pos even after Pyrrha became lung ash.
The troubling part is the fact that Ozpin says "i helped set" in referring to at least two academies.
Of the King of Vale they also say he set the academies...
So everyone who said Jaune and Ozpin (the body) are related were right.
Meh. Monty might've had a point with this, but i doubt the two stooges can do something with it. Of their own admission, Monty had them watch anime and animation so they could help him bring a Western style of story telling in his plot, something he admits lacking (podcast).
So in other words, the story is in the hands of a greedy company that's making obscene amounts of money on the back of a dead man's story, run by two idiots who decided it was a good idea (along with the rest) to switch animation programs without any kind of training mid volume...and if that wasn't enough, they not only pissed off his grieving protegee, but also, one of the oldest VAs working with them, the voice of Glynda... which will not be coming back to the show, did not come back to the show, and either is dead off screen or getting a new VA (she says she's open to coming back).
They've been caught lying (and it has nothing to do with the Monty manifesto) and they just pimp the story the way they see fit queerbating left and right, retracting Monty's words etc.
So does it really matter?
