She's eating the slowpoke tail the wrong way. Now i know why in second gen. they cut off slowpoke tails. so that they won't evolve if you eat their tails.

^ Or maybe because, you know, it's weird to eat a tail when it's still attached to the Pokemon. Maybe that's just me though.
