No Linkle isn't Link... Linkle was just a character Nintendo created in order to pander to the fans that wanted a female Link. She is a separate character though and a sister to Link of sorts. Unfortunately Nintento conveniently forgot that they already had Aryll and could have just called this new character by her name instead.
