Anon_Perv, last year drawfags made a huge image quilt of get well cards when they heard he was hospitalized. They would've likely done the same had they known about his health this year.


It really hits hard since I've read so many comments along the lines of "Iwata should retire because of that awful E3 conference" or "Iwata should die, he has no idea how games work anymore" or "Iwata is an asshole for not handling amiibo correctly" recently. It's all hyperbole, this isn't what we wanted.
Obviously he did know what he was doing at least some of the time if he designed Balloon Fight and let us go to Kanto in Pokemon Gold and Silver. Even if some of the things he'd say were frustrating, he at least projected it in a funny way.

Bless your soul Iwata.
