@1608967

@Bling7 It was also Miyamoto's idea to outsource the Star Fox franchise to a 3rd party developer for every installment to the series SINCE 1996.

Just because he outsourced it, that doesn't mean he went on his merry way. He closely oversaw the development of all the Star Fox titles.

I mean, you can't just write off so called "Star Fox 64 Loyalists" simply because you and many others think it is blind nostalgia.

Why not? That's exactly what it is. Mostly.

Simply put, the later Star Fox games lack vital elements to 64's success.

So in other words: "If it's not Star Fox 64, it's not Star Fox."

Star Fox: Adventures and Star Fox: Assault didn't even sell half of the amount 64 sold

SF64 was a great game during that era. But it's funny how SF64 3D doesn't have that same success... even though the number of 3DS owners greatly outweigh N64 owners.

Star Fox: Assault was booed by viewers at E3 2003 when the trailer was revealed, and EGM (Electronic Gaming Monthly) commented on it by saying that it looked "remarkably unimpressive."

Certain people were expecting way too much. It wasn't a finished product. The game was still in development. That stupid crowd reaction from years ago leads me to believe why this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kYo_FPfF3M is blurred-out/censored.

I don't think fans hate Star Fox because of Krystal, nor do they think "she ruined the series."

No, certain people just hate her for idiotic reasons. 7 out of 10 you'll always see comments like:

"I hate her because she replaced Peppy."
"If it's not Star Fox 64, it's not Star Fox."
"She ruined the series."

etc.

I believe it may be a possibility that people associate Krystal with furries, and as a result, they may become guilty by association because of the negative connotation the fandom bears.

That's a poor excuse. This whole furry thing with Star Fox existed way before Krystal became a part of the series. Fox X Falco
I like SF64 and Adventures, but to those who have an extreme problem just because Star Fox hasn't had another simple one-hour long rail shooter... I see them as this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5AvrBFlJeMs

The fact that this hasn't happened yet is proof there is a god.

Personally, I just want her in the roster because I think she would bring a unique fighting style with a combination of staff and magic.
