And considering her whole uniform is pretty contemporary in comparison to everything else. Then again, Stylish was pretty modern as well.

But I guess the real kicker is... does she have a music player?

Well, considering Najenda wears a typical modern suit, Esdeath wears a stylized military officers uniform, and Akame as well as her sister both wear outfits reminiscent of school girl uniforms, I have to wonder why any one would question any modernist clothing designs at this point. The series goes all over the place when it comes to fashion styles. Various periods and cultures are in evidence throughout the whole thing really.
