Also you can bring with you 7 of them (only 3 of them can battle with you however). There will be some sort of base where the rest of your recruits will stay.

It means you can only get 1 "Slime Girl" but also 1 "Slime Bess" and I would assume someday 1 "Erubetie" (there's only one anyway). So you can have as many of any race, just 1 of each specific monster.
Part 1 has approximately 134 total recruitable allies, though in 2 cases you choose from one of two and cannot get the other.
Due to their role in the plot, I do not know if these Lilith sisters will be recruitable. They are nowhere remotely near as light or friendly as Alma Elma.
