Jimdandy: It's not a new design. As Anon3 said, this was his design in FE10: Radiant Dawn (see tag fire_emblem:_akatsuki_no_megami). The version in Brawl was from FE9: Path of Radiance (see tag fire_emblem:_souen_no_kiseki). This is also more accurate; Ike never wielded Ragnell while in the costume he appeared in for Brawl. Now if only they'd get his promoted costumes for alt color schemes...

No, Anon3, you're not the only one. Ragnell looks just a little short - though it's no Ettard.

Random side note @HildeGard: He sure does fight for heroine. At least one heroine hires him each game as a mercenary. And yes, I get the reference; THAT heroin is spelled without the final e. :3

I think Ragnell just looks small in comparison to Ike. I mean he has grown and it's like 5 ft tall. Anyway, if you want to know more about Ike, check out the FE Awakening website. (Anyone get the reference?)
