Why is it that Non-Japanese artists feel the need to make the noses really ugly? The body is amazing but then you look at the dumb face with it's big bulbous nose and it kills it. Anime wasn't meant to look like that.

That nose isn't bulbous. He didn't make the nose a little dot like many Japanese artist do.

Honestly noses are kind of dumb. A character looks weird when you draw him/her with one and he/she looks weird when you draw him/her without one.

But the original art doesn't just leave it as a dot now does it? "Many Japanese artists" has nothing to do with it, the original art is what it should be compared to, but nice try redirecting our attention to the irrelevant.

I, myself think that this drawing is pretty great, but you have to admit that this would look a lot more like her if the nose was pointy and the bridge was more delineated like how it is in the anime.
