Why has this been given the original tag? That is Zone-Tan, already an established character. Why would the original tag apply? Because she isn't from a manga or anime? The original tag is used for characters that the artist has created for that picture, not an artist creating a variant to sit behind a pre-established character. The better tag, which is already up there, is selfcest, as it is describing one character having sexual actions with a being that represents another aspect of themselves or some form of avatar. Even though this character was created for this, original should still not be used as there is an already existing character that the artist did not create, therefore making this not a truly original piece, as the artist did not design the character. Just trying to bring some sense to tags.

It's an original character, hence the term "original". It's an established character in their own independent works and nothing else. If it's not from any manga or show or... Anything in particular, it's going to be tagged as original. This is why it's pink. It's a series tag.
