Stuff like this makes me wish more Pokémon had sexual dimorphism. There are a lot of final forms that are very decidedly masculine or feminine for both genders. Chloé, the Chestnaught looks like a dude even though I was lucky enough to start with a lady starter, Sarah my female gogoat looks like an old man with a shaggy beard and Blaziken looks like a karate chick from one of those 70's action TV shows despite it only being distributed in a male form...

it sucks that some pokemon has dimorphism and others that really need it doesn't have one. Mr. Mime really needs one XD

To be fair, there are a lot of animals that don't have much dimorphism in real life. With some reptiles, the only thing that makes it obvious is the length of the claws.

A lot of the lizards Tend to look gender nuetral in pokemon. The only ones I can think of looking masculine right off the bat are Toxicroak and Scrafty.

Theyd probably retcon some into female or male only if there werent already a mass of both genders for it or it required some special thing for a certain gender to evolve like Froslass or Gallade.

@ShawnBear:
Mr. Mime's Japanese name is "Barrierd," meaning that the stupid gender specific name was actually a mistake on the part of the people dubbing the franchise.
