Yeah this game references to Fighting Games from all around, as well as other games, animes and such. People must've not paid attention to Peacocks move animations.

Besides Fighting game developers don't give a rat's ass about stolen moves, do you know how many Hadoken and Shoryuken look-alikes exist across the entire Fighting game genre?.
