Maybe it's like FFT and some enemy Knight, or an enemy combatant subbing the Art of War skillset, hit her with Armor Break?
Or maybe a D&D Rust Monster just destroyed her armor?
Similarly, she just got punched by a Monk wearing a Gauntlet of Rust?
Also, there ARE spells in D&D, Pathfinder, and others that specifically target and destroy armor.
I'm imagining she's suddenly realizing that she's at something of a disadvantage without her equipment.
I mean, at least in terms of defensive power. In terms of offensive power, I'd imagine her hooves are deadly enough.
I for one hope the remainder of the battle goes better for this particular centauress combatant, or she at least escapes unmolested.
