Well I won't give too much spoiler as possible but If you read the manga (I only read the translated ones up online) it does say that Mao knew the hero since he was born. And it seemed to me that she didn't age as much since that time.

In a number of sources Maou refers to "150 years ago" as her youth. So she must be long-lived.

Do you guys notice that Yuusha's name is crossed out as 'baka' in the tombstone? It's not the age that matters here, that fucker didn't touch her until he died (the kanji next to Yuusha's face says 'virgin') - that's what Maou is meefed about...
