Hands and feet are very difficult to draw
I draw just like a hobby and I can tell that you need very awesome skills to achive results like in this picture.
Before criticizing you should try do something like this yourself to see how hard it is.

Lamia, they do but i get whats going on, rather than highlighting the toenails, its a basic light reflection across the whole foot, so it gives the toes kind of a stubbed appearance.
