Electrical cables? I doubt it

They are muscles attached to anchor points... if they were electrical cables I doubt they'd connect to the frame(look at her shoulders and hips) and she wouldn't be capable of moving

Yeah those flesh coloured "cables" are definitely synthetic muscles. motorised joints would make movements too mechanical and stiff. Synthetic muscles over alloy ball-joints would make for smoother and more realistic movements and would explain the way those so called "cables" are wrapped around the joints.

They might have the connectors/plugs for purposes of controlling them. Even normal muscels use electricity for that, partly.
