Do you even read Naruto bigb? Why the hell were the Uchiha going to war? Because they were being treated unfairly. They were suspected of treason, segregated and generally treated like trash! Fugaku wasn't a traitor, he said "F#ck you!" to Konoha and prepared his downtrodden brothers and sisters for war!
Sasuke however is just twisted at this point. he got mind raped by itachi not once, not twice, but three times!!! The first as like, an eight year old. The second after he easily got his ass kicked. Then a third unofficial time when it was revealed that Itachi was under orders and was looking out for Sasuke the entire time. Not to mention two of the times was "before" Orochimaru got ahold of him with his hicky of corruption for three years.
I will bow on calling Sasuke a traitor, because he is, he's just crazy. I won't however stand on calling the Uchiha a bunch of traitors, it was every single person in Konoha at the time who were the traitors.

>First person says popular yet incorrect statement
>Hailed with upvotes
>second person uses logic and disagrees
>Booed and hidden with downvotes
>Second person then loses his initial respectability in the eyes of rational people by responding to his downvotes like a 10 year old

the uchiha wanted to 'go to war' because the believed that they above EVERYONE else in the entire village should rule. All because of their jutsu stealing bloodline. If their quest for the 'justice' they believed they deserved for their misstreatment had succeded, Naruto would either be dead, or a mindless weapon that would have made early Gara look like Gandi.
They were isolated because of their pisspoor response to the Kyuubi attack and the stigmata of the actions of their progeniter Madara.
No one trusted the Uchiha because of the fact that besides a few odd numbers they would steal ANY jutsu they could get in their sight all because their 'glorious' bloodline allowed them to. Wouldn't you hate or mistrust someone that stole a technique that you worked your ass off training to perfect?
