Hey, I remember this fake ''Rockman V: Confrontation! Dr. Marvel!'' game advert from Capcoms Secret files Vol. 18 mini-magazine scan more than 2 years ago.
I don't exatly remember their names meanings but here's the kanji name translations to clockwise.
Captain Commando = Taichou Mantaichou which means commander.
Venom = Doku Man - Doku means Venom.
Morrigan = Oiroke Man - Oiroke means Sexy. (No, I'm not joking!)
Gambit = Mr. Monami - ''My Friend'' in French
Zangeif = Nagehame Man - Nagehame means destructive throw.
Captain America = Meriken Man - simply American Man.
Strider = Nazo no Ninja Robo - Enigmatic ninja robot.
Wolverine = Tsume Man - Tsume means Claw
Ryu = Hadou Man - maybe a pun from Hadouken.
And finally, Spider-Man = Kumo Man - Kumo means Spider.
