@Lurkerella False remember the episode where ash and pikachu did the police training with growlithe and jennie? when they we're doing the practice the acting burglar had a gun. as well as one of the banned episodes in the safari where ash went to the ranger park

@leeloon weren't there also guns in the squirtle squad episode where Ash had to go to some store in an old west styled town and everyone wanted to shoot him, thinking he was a robber? I think there were also guns in Tentacool and Tentacruel where they tried using tanks and machine guns to shoot the giant Tentacruel?
