I wonder: What if they had focused their attacks on the bomb instead of Steiner? Would they have been able to defeat it before it blew up? If so, would they have been able to safely escape Alexandria? I don't think the harpoons really did much besides hold the airship in place. They were destroyed by the explosion, so I think Vivi's magic could have taken care of them. Maybe.
