A "lover's pact" to each other, perhaps? This holds a higher elegance in my eyes for Miku & Luka because of what it could represent in the "human world". A truly beautiful piece of art (ha, I'm actually calling this art -_*) capturing the mortality of these two, sexy Vocaloids. This becomes my permanent wallpaper for both my laptop & PS3! True perfection ;))!
