the reason ichigo's lack of clothing made no difference in his fight vs. aizen , as he put it , because ichigo had discarded his reiatsu and used it to enhance his fighting abilities to the max . therefore his clothing became no longer a indicator of how much reiatsu he had, because he had none.

No, that is what he THOUGHT was right. As he said about himself. He thought he was so high up, that no one around him could even sense him, or his reiatsu. But Ichigo was even higher up than Aizen, which made him think he discarded his reiatsu.
