Tomo is not in here because, well... it's confusing. The anime diverged from the manga halfway through. In the manga, they don't rescue Tomo from the Adepts and beat the Qwaser of Gold. Not sure how the anime will handle it now they're animating past that point.. I suppose Tomo will get kidnapped again to keep the status quo from the manga
